Need for verifying engineering certificates obtained via distance edncation mode

Hyderabad: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has confused the need to check the validity of certificates regarding engineering courses obtained via distance mode using the employees operating in various authorities departments. The AICTE has sent a verbal exchange regarding technological universities and the State authorities in this regard. It can be noted right here that the AICTE had lately sent the communique to the Vice-Chancellors of the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities (JNTU) in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, in addition to the State Chief Secretaries.

According to assets in the JNTU-Hyderabad, the AICTE conversation followed an earlier path from the Supreme Court.
